Plant Medicine for Health and Healing
Before mainstream medicine and man-made drugs, there was nature. Nature gives us a great diversity of herbs, plants and trees. Our ancestors knew how to use plants as medicine to support imbalances in physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Unfortunately, we aren’t as connected with what is around us as we once were. Our aim in providing plant and food medicine consultations is to reconnect us with our relationship to the natural world and it’s healing properties for the many ailments we experience today.
Working with a mental health and herbal clinician is a unique way to empower your healing journey and receive guidance and support along the way. A conversation entailing health history, symptom patterns, lifestyle, and nutrition will ensue to enable an understanding of where a person is, has been, and where they want to be. Participants will be engaged in conversation on how they want to heal and flourish and a custom formulation of plant medicine will be blended to support each person in their unique and individual process. This could be a tea, tincture, powder, oil blend, or salve.

Animal Assisted Therapy
Animals play a major role in the human experience. We interact with them in nature, eat them for food, and keep them as pets. We learn so much from animals, and most of us may not realize how much they actually help us. Having animals be a part of the mental healing process in therapy has been found to be a very powerful type of experiential therapy.
In Animal Assisted Therapy and Animal Assisted Activities, a participant gets to develop a bond with an animal, engage in a parallel process of healing, spend time being cared for by an animal and caring for an animal, in addition to exploring the strengths and struggles we all experience as living beings, furry and non-furry alike.
We currently are working with Chewy, a bull mastiff mix in training. He would love to meet you and join together on both your journey’s.
